Hello! My name is Ian Spangler. I am a 2nd year Architecture Student at Cal Poly SLO, independent designer, and an entrepreneur. I am originally from Monterey CA, where I spent the entirety of my childhood with my wonderful family. When not working or studying, I love to hike, surf, and camp outdoors. If I'm not outdoors I love to read, listen to podcasts, cook meals, and study maps. I have had the pleasure of on top of my coursework to work as a design freelancer under the moniker Ian Spangler Design - aka ISD. - and as the founder/CEO of Treeverb Audio LLC which I started in Spring 2023. I am a born creative and a strategic problem solver with a hunger to find the elegant and clever solution, as I believe that creativity born at the intersection of diverse knowledge sets, those of science, art, economics, and culture, will foster the innovation that will solve the challenges of our time. ISD. has been built off of that philosophy from day 1.
